The Grand Rapids Compassionate Friends chapter is closing. Starting in January 2009
there will no longer be any meetings. The chapter has been asking for someone to step
forward to lead the group, and sadly, no one has. The current steering committee has been
active since August 2006 and is ready to step down.
We wish you well in your grief journey and that you may find some other type of support.
The
Compassionate Friends is a national, mutual,
self-help organization offering friendship and
understanding to bereaved families who have
experienced the death of a child through nearly
600 local community chapters.
